As you will all be aware our members have been working hard at raising funds for the corps' trip to the DCA championships in Rochester, New York.

Alexa Dale (mellophone) raised £175 for the corps by completing the Sheffield Half Marathon, Amy Harris (baritone) raised money for the corps by swimming 100 miles over the last few months and Laura Boon (soprano) is close to achieveing her goal of losing 5 stone, for which she has been sponsored by members, family and friends.

Also on Saturday 5 June, Paul Lowton (bass drum) will be hosting the Kidsgrove Scouts' first darts night to raise more money for the corps at the Scout Headquarters in Kidsgrove.

Fantastic work from all of of out members is enabling the corps to fund our trip to America. Thanks to all of you whao have donated money and supported the corps so far.
