On 5 June, Kidsgrove Scouts held their first darts competition in an effort to raise funds for the DCA trip in August. The evening was organised and hosted by Paul Lowton, one of Kidsgrove Scouts' longest standing members.

On the night over 20 people took part in the competition and competed in knock out rounds until it came down to the best two players, Paul Lowton and Paul Povey. It was a close competiton but on the night Lowton clinched the title.

During the night we also had a raffle and football card game which helped to raise more funds.

The night raised £600 - a fantastic achievement! Thanks to everyone involved who helped to arrange the night, and the members, friends and family who supported the event.
