On Sunday 20 June the Kidsgrove Scouts Juniors took part at the Barnsley BYBA show with their 2010 show, Kidsgrove Has Talent.

The show based around the current popularity of TV shows such as X Factor, Strictly Come Dancing and Britain’s Got Talent was well received by the crowd. Taking first place in the Junior Division with a score of 46.28 winning all captions. A special mention to Adam Shaw who won a special award for Best Drum Major.

John Swindells, Corps Director commented after the show “It is always tough to put out a show when the members are so young but they certainly did the organisation proud and the show will get better and better”.

The juniors will next perform at the Stoke DCUK show on 4 July.
