On Sunday 20 June the Kidsgrove Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps gave its 2010 production, Heist of The Century, its first public viewing at the Barnsley BYBA show. The expectant crowd were not disappointed as the corps, marching 85 members, took to the field resplendent in their red, white & black uniform. The opening hit nearly raised the roof of the small stadium but there was plenty more to come and the crowd were on their feet by the end of the show. John Swindells, Corps Director commented after the show “this was the strongest first show performance I have ever seen a true pleasure to watch and a great way to start our 100 year celebrations”. The corps won the Associate Division with a score of 66.33. The Heist now moves onto the Stoke DCUK show on 4 July. For more photos take a look at our photo gallery.
